Mission

The subjects taught are important for practical applicability. To become a successful professional, an engineer requires both Soft Skills as well as Managerial Skills to meet the socio economic requirements. The Humanities Department imparts all sorts of communication and HR related knowledge during four years of B.Tech degree.

Goals

The Department of Humanities grooms a student in Communication skills, Behavioural skills, Managerial skills with Socio- Economic awareness, Presentation skills, and  Financial management skills development

The Humanities department of our courses to all the streams of B. Tech (1st year to 4th year) in the first two years of B. Tech degree course they study

  • HU-101 - English language and Technical Communication
  • HU-181 - Language Lab.
  • HU-381& HU-481 - Technical Report writing and Language Lab Practice
  • HU-301& HU-401 - Values and Ethics in profession
In 3rd year and 4th year they study

(As per Old Syllabus)

  • HU-601 - Industrial Management (ECE Branch)
  • HU-701 - Financial Management and Accounts for all branches
  • HU-801 - Values and Ethics in profession Values
  • HU-802 - Industrial Management (Except ECE Branch)

(As per New Syllabus)

  • HU-501 - Economics for Engineers for all branches
  • HU-601 - The principles of Management for all branches
Strength of the Department and Existing Facilities

The subjects which are being taught are important for practical applicability. An engineer cannot become a successful professional without knowledge in Soft Skills as well as managerial skills (Economic Prospective of the current industrial scenario). The Humanities department grooms a student in their communication skills, behavioral aspects and presentation skills.
